❡ This is my digital typeface revival for the TypeMedia master degree course. The original type is a very rare set of letters, only survived in the archives of the Enschedé Museum in Haarlem, Netherlands. It is considered as one of the oldest roman typefaces at all and its history is spiced up with marvellous facts, confused lies, lost traces, but not the least amazing typesetting applications. Ernst Braches dedicated a price winning Book to this weirdow, set and printed by Bram De Does’ hands from the hot metal letters of this one-of-a-kind typeface itself.
