Plugin Questions

How can I activate a license?

In case your trial period is still ongoing

  1. Right click on any of the plugin’s UI buttons.
    Or if it has no UI, right click into the Edit View.
  2. Click “Purchase {{Plugin Name}} 💚” in the appearing context menu.
  3. Or wait a bit until the trial reminder window pops up automatically.

In case your trial period has already expired

  1. Launch the plugin and a registration window will show up.
  2. Purchase or enter a license in this window.

How to apply a coupon code?

💡 Click on Show Order Summary and then + Add discount.
If your coupon code is valid, the discount will be applied.

What if I have a problem with the plugin?

It’s quite common that newer cutting edge versions of Glyphs break things that plugins rely on. This is natural with software ecosystems and progress.
Please let me know about it, so I can fix it. In the meantime you can use a lower version of Glyphs, while I am fixing the issue.

Note:
You can have several GlyphsApp versions installed.

Download an older version with a URL in this form
https://updates.glyphsapp.com/Glyphs3.1.2-3151.zip
Adjust the version to the one you need.

Tip:
with the script “Copy Download URL for Current App Version” by mekkablue you can quickly get a download url that you can adjust to to your needs.

I can’t find the Plugin in the Plugin Manager.

Your GlyphsApp needs to be version 3 and a higher build than 3062.
If Glyphs doesn’t offer you a sufficiently high version, enable cutting edge versions in Glyphs:
Preferences > “Updates” > “Show cutting edge versions”.

If you are a student, please send me your student ID with the period of enrolment displayed to my email adress.

If you are a teacher or work for an educational institution, I will also need a proof of that.
